Have I become a part of nature?

A Bird makes a pitch to be my alarm clock every morning

We decide to respond to the call of each day.

The Sun makes a pitch to bring me into the light every morning

And I agree.

We decide to come out of the darkness and open up to the brilliance of each day.

The Spider makes a pitch to weave me into nature’s web

And I agree.

We decide to untangle and start fresh in a new place, each day.

The Hummingbird makes a pitch to be my guest, more than a few times, all day

And I agree.

We decide to draw nectar from each and every activity, all day, everyday.
